Bhubaneswar: A group of middle-aged women from all walks of life came forward to prove it’s never too late through a play ‘Na, Mu Kariparibi’. The play, written and directed by Sujata Priyadarshini, was presented by team ‘Wonder Woman’ at Railway Auditorium in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
“Women need to deal with their challenges individually and fight back and for that we need to muster up courage and support each other. Women have no less strength and power, we need to believe in that,” said Sujata, the writer-director.
The play was enacted by 12 women- Aruna, Tanaya Patnaik, Gargi Bhattacharya, Sonie, Sanghamitra, Sucheta, Revati, Priya, Pranati, Rita, Annapurna and Sraddha. “Many of them were amateurs and practiced a lot to stage the play”, said the writer.
Acid attack survivor Minati Pradhan was felicitated on the occasion.
