World Cup Final: Australia Down To 51/3 As Bumrah, Shami Strike

Ahmedabad: Australia got off to a flying start in their chase of 241 in the ODI World Cup final against India, but they also lost two early wickets.

David Warner slashed at a wide delivery from Mohammad Shami, the first ball he bowled, to be brilliantly caught by Rahul Dravid at slip.

16/1 in 1.1 over.

Mitchell Marsh, after striking a six and a four, flirted with one well outside off stump and edged it to wicketkeeper KL Rahul off Jasprit Bumrah.

41/2 in 4.3 overs.

Steve Smith tried to bring some calmness in the Aussie batting but fell to the guile of Bumrah, who trapped the right-hander leg-before wicket.

47/3 in 7 overs.

At the end of 9 overs, Australia were 51/3 with opener Travis Head on 10 and Marnus Labuschagne on 0.
