Hockey World Cup: Special Shows At Planetarium, More Seats At Dhauli

Bhubaneswar: Special shows will be held at the Planetarium for hockey fans and visitors during World Cup Hockey. Arrangements will also be made for separate shows for large groups of tourists on request. OTDC has held discussions with the Planetarium authority in this regard. Show timings have been mentioned in the information booklet.
The Tourist Department has prepared two booklets. One booklet contains all the information on World Cup Hockey while the other booklet contains information on places of tourist interest in the state. Here’s what one can see:

Lights and Sound Show in Dhauli: Seats to be increased

A large number of foreign tourists are expected to visit Dhauli. According to sources, players, VIPs or tourists visiting Dhauli Giri Shanti Stupa will be given special treatment.
The Peace Pagoda will be decorated on the occasion. The Sports Department, the BDA and the BMC have taken this responsibility. The seating capacity at the Lights and Sound Show will be increased according to the number of visitors.

There will be two shows of 35 minutes each in Dhauli. There is a capacity to accommodate 250 people at a time. Besides, school students can witness the show at a discounted rate by sitting in the corridor, which is located in front of the Shanti Stupa.
