In these days of struggle and hardship, caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic, it’s laughter that can help people stay away from depression, anxiety and stress.

On the occasion of World Laughter Day, here is a list of Bollywood movies that will make you die laughing.

Hera Pheri Series

‘Babu bhaiya’, with ‘Raju’ and ‘Shyam’, are all set to earn lakhs through a wrong number which turned right for them.

If you haven’t seen Hera Pheri for a while, watch it today… it will surely tickle your funny bones.

Even after getting rich, in the sequel ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, the trio loses all their money for the scheme ‘Ek Ka Double’. The funny roller-coaster at the Royal Circus in the climax will be good for a belly laugh.

Andaz Apna Apna

The 1994 comedy features Amir Khan and Salman Khan in lead roles. The hilarious chemistry between Amir and Salman made everyone laugh their hearts out.

So, if you are missing Crime master Gogo, Salman’s ‘Oimaa’ and rip-roaringly funny dialogues, this movie is a must match right now.

The story, comedy timing of the star cast and punch lines will hold your attention till the last scene.

Hungama

Every time you watch this movie, it takes you on a never-ending journey of laughter. The film, featuring Paresh Rawal, Akshay Khanna, Rimi Sen, Rajpal Yadav and Aftab Shivdasani, among others, will make you laugh in every scene.

Directed by the maverick of comedies, Priyadarshan, the plot — with a perfect blend of humour, romance and suspense — will lift your mood during this tough times.

Golmaal

Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal is indeed fun unlimited. It’s a story of four students — Gopal (Ajay Devgan), Madho (Arshad Warsi), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor) and Laxman (Sharman Joshi) — who get thrown out of the college for committing several mistakes through acts of indiscipline.

The story gets an interesting turn with Wasooli in picture. From there on, it will make you laugh relentlessly. Power-packed with action, drama, and comedy with Tushar’s humorous voice, it is going to be fun watching it again.

Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro

This 1983 movie, starring Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur, Satish Kaushik among others, is regarded by many experts as the funniest Hindi movie ever made. It centres around two out-of-work photographers who come across criminals and fight them to bring justice.

The story will make the giggles and guffaws continue throughout. The movie also features the inspirational song ‘Hum Honge Kaamyab Ek Din’.
