World’s Leading Live Entertainment Company Cirque Du Soleil To Debut In India

Mumbai: One of the most popular Canadian entertainment company, Cirque du Soleil, will make its debut in India with its show ‘Bazzar’ in November.

The production will be performed by Cirque du Soleil artistes under the newest version of its famous Big Top Tent, which is 52 feet high and 135 feet in diameter. It can accomodate more than 1500 guests.

Bazzar is company’s 43rd original production and will be brought to India by BookMyShow. It will have its world premiere in Mumbai and then in Delhi.

“After entertaining millions of people around the world for over 30 years, there are a few remaining markets we have yet to visit. We have been looking forward to introducing Cirque du Soleil to the Indian market, which is very important for our international growth,” said President and CEO, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, Daniel Lamarre.

COO-Non Movies, BookMyShow, Albert Almeida said Cirque du Soleil is an unbelievable entertainment experience that has amazed millions of people across the world with its performance. “They defy ‘normal’ in every sense. We are to work with them as they prepare for a debut in India,” he added.

Cirque du Soleil is credited with reinventing circus and is considered a world leader in live entertainment. Their shows offer striking and spectacular dramatic performances to the audience. These shows feature fascinating and whimsical costumes staged under magical lighting and set to original music compositions.
