New Delhi: Celebrated wrestler-cum-actor, John Cena exchanged the wedding vows with his longtime girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in a private wedding ceremony.
Even as the wrestler walked down the aisle in a hush-hush manner, his marriage certificate started doing the rounds on the social media on Friday.
According to reports, the couple got hitched secretly on Monday at Tampa, Florida.
“‘I will be happy if I only get (x).’ This is a great way to mold an entire life spent chasing happiness and never finding joy,” John had tweeted on October 13 before his wedding.
John’s better half, Shay Shariatzadeh is an engineer by profession.
The lovebirds were first spotted together in March 2019 while John was shooting for ‘Playing with Fire’ in Canada.
Sometime later, Shay was seen flaunting a big diamond ring on her left hand and rumours started doing the rounds that the duo is engaged.
“A happy marriage is a long conversation that always seems too short,” tweeted John, which further raised eyebrows.
John Cena will be seen next in ‘The Fast And The Furious 9’ along with Vin Diesel and others.
