Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for 18 districts of Odisha till 5 pm on Sunday.
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Koraput, Cuttack, Khurda, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nuapada, Balangir, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, and Keonjhar during the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
