Nabarangpur: A young boy and a girl, who were allegedly in a relationship, were found hanging from the ceiling of the latter’s house at Nuaguda village in Umarkote block of Nabarangpur district on Saturday morning.
According to sources, the couple belonged to different castes and their families were against this relationship. It is being suspected that they committed suicides on Friday night when the girl’s family had gone to a nearby village to watch a cultural programme.
On being informed, Umarkote police reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem.
