Keonjhar: Anandpur police here on Wednesday detained four persons for allegedly sharing a intimate video of a couple on social media platforms.
According to the sources, the youths found the couple in an intimate position and forced them to repeat the act. They then recorded it on their phones with an intention to blackmail them.
In the video, the accused can be heard saying, “You will not get a chance like this. Do whatever you want. We will not do anything. You people make use of this opportunity and enjoy.” On the other hand, the visibly frightened girl could be heard crying loudly.
Police started an inquiry into the matter after the video went viral.
“The investigation revealed that the accused harassed the couple and snatched away their mobile phones and purse,” said Anandpur police station IIC Sudarshan Panda.
While the girl is a local resident, the boy belongs to Mayurbhanj, he said.
The accused are being interrogated, the IIC added.
