Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) conducted an audit by the bright young minds of the Aina Foundation on the occasion of Children’s Day on Tuesday.
At the special event, held at the OTDC headquarters, the young auditors were divided into two groups. Both groups made an evaluation of OTDC in various categories including accessibility, inclusivity, activity, amenities and overall property quality.
They awarded OTDC a score of 9 out of 10, reflecting their thorough assessment and positive findings during the audit.
OTDC Chairman Lenin Mohanty and divisional managers discussed the audit findings at a meeting. Addressing the gathering, Mohanty expressed his gratitude to the Aaina Foundation students for their meticulous audit and insightful observations. He commended their efforts and highlighted the importance of involving the youth in shaping the future of tourism.
Appreciating the thoroughness of the audit, Mohanty pledged to address the identified areas for improvement within 15 days. He emphasised OTDC’s commitment to enhancing accessibility, inclusivity and overall visitor experience based on the valuable feedback provided by the Aaina Foundation adolescents.
