Cuttack: A video in which an unidentified youth is seen making fun and slapping Biju Patnaik has gone viral. In the video, the youth is also seen trying to strangulate the former Chief Minister of Odisha.
Condemning the youth’s actions in the video, Biju Chhatra Janata Dal leaders have described it as an “insult” to the legendary leader and demanded police to take suitable measures to remove the video from social media. They have also called for action against the youth.
The students’ wing has lodged an FIR at Bidanasi police station here.
The statue, going by its appearance and the background, is at Anand Bhavan, Biju Patnaik’s ancestral home that has been converted into a museum.
