Bhubaneswar: Kharavela Nagar Police here have rescued a minor girl and her alleged abductor.
The accused has been identified as Swonoj Barik. He is a native of Cuttack district.
According to sources, the minor girl was kidnapped from Unit-9 area here on September 20. The girl’s parents had then lodged a missing complaint with Kharavela Nagar Police.
Acting on the complaint, police had launched a manhunt to nab Swonoj and apprehended him on Sunday night.
