Bhubaneswar: A youth has been arrested in Odisha’s capital for allegedly blackmailing a minor girl who he had befriended on social media.
Nayapalli police arrested the youth, identified as Asish Jena, on charges of extorting money and gold ornaments from the girl. The girl allegedly gave gold ornaments, belonging to her family, worth around Rs 1.5 lakh to the accused.
