Mumbai: Republic TV Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami blamed the Congress for the alleged attack on him on Wednesday midnight.
Goswami had earlier targeted Congress chief Sonia Gandhi over her silence on the Palghar lynching and alleged that the attack was the fallout of this tirade.
Meanwhile, police on Thursday morning arrested two persons in connection with the attack.
A case has been registered at NM Joshi Marg Police Station under Sections 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the DCP Mumbai Zone 3 told the media.

In his 5-minute video message, Goswami also targeted the Vadra family and thanked his security guards for confirming that the attackers were youth Congress workers.
