Puri: A youth was killed after being hit by a police van at Haladia
Naga Chhack under Brahmagiri police limits in Puri district on
Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Kar, a resident of Bijipur village
in the district.

Kar was on his way to Brahmagiri on a motorcycle when the driver of
the speeding police vehicle coming from opposite direction hit him.
Following the incident, an irate mob gathered near the accident spot
and demanded strict action against the police van driver, who fled from the
spot immediately after the accident.
