Banki: In a tragic incident, a youth drowned while taking bath in the Mahanadi river at Banki in Cuttack district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Kishore Behera, a resident of Ranpur village in the district.
According to available information, Behera was apparently dragged into deep waters by strong current.
Locals informed fire personnel, who rushed to the spot and fished out the body after carrying out a search operation.
