Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly hacked his aunt to death for Rs 500 at Dumuria village under Ghatagaon police limits in Keonjhar on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Sadhu Das.
According to sources, Sadhu had an argument with his aunt for Rs 500, following which, he hacked her with a sharp weapon. The woman died on the spot.
On being informed, police reached the spot and detained Sadhu for interrogation.
Investigation into the matter is underway.
