Balangir: Police on Sunday rescued a youth within 12 hours of his kidnapping from Jarajangi village in Balangir district.
The victim was rescued from a house at Bileisarda village under Saintala police limits in the district.
According to available information, the family members of the youth had lodged a police complaint after he went missing from his house on Saturday. They alleged that four members of a particular family were involved in his abduction.
Acting on the complaint, police swung into action and managed to rescue him from a house.
Of the four suspects, one person has been detained for interrogation in connection with the case.
