Balangir: A youth was found lying in a pool of blood at an agricultural field in Sikachada village under Sadar block of Balangir district on Wednesday.
He was identified as Rama Mahakud.

Locals spotted the body and informed police, who rushed to the spot and seized the body. It is suspected that Rama was stoned to death by some miscreants over past enmity. The area was sealed by police for collecting scientific evidence.
In another incident, a man was found dead near a pond at Gadanala under Beguniapada police limits in Ganjam district. Police identified the deceased as Trinath Behera of P Nuagaon village in the district.
