Cuttack: A youth’s body was recovered from the railway track near Kuakhai river in Cuttack on Tuesday morning. The identity of the dead person is yet to be ascertained.
Sources said some residents spotted the body and informed police who sent the body for post-mortem.
According to primary investigation, it is suspected that the youth was run over by a speeding train while crossing the railway track. The exact cause of death will be known after post-mortem. Investigations are on.
