Bhubaneswar: The body of a youth was found on the premises of a temple situated at Kanan Vihar, Phase II area on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Dillip Parikhya, a resident of Bhadrak district. He was working as security guard for a private organisation.
According to information, the priest of the temple found the body lying inside the temple after opening the gate this morning. He immediately alerted the police about the same.
Getting information, a team of Infocity police station officials rushed to the spot and seized the body.
“The body has been sent to Capital Hospital for postmortem. The exact reason of death can only be ascertained after receiving the report. A piece of paper was recovered from the youth’s pocket. However, investigation into the matter is underway,” a police officer informed.
