Mumbai: After four years of marriage, Team India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his social media influencer wife Dhanashree Verma have apparently fallen out of love.
According to a report in The Times of India, the couple has been staying separately for a while now and is headed for divorce.
“The divorce is inevitable, and it’s only a matter of time before it becomes official. The exact reasons for their separation are not known yet, but it’s clear that the couple has decided to move on with their lives separately. They have been living separately for over three months now,” ToI quoted a source as saying.
Social media users have also observed that Chahal, who is not currently part of the Indian team, and Dhanashree have unfollowed each other on Instagram, thereby adding fuel to the fire. Pictures and videos of their wedding have also been deleted from Chahal’s account, hinting at a rough phase in their marriage.
Rumours of split had done the rounds earlier also, but Chahal refuted those reports. “A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly put an end to it,” Chahal said then.
Chahal and Dhanashree got hitched in December 2020, in a private ceremony held in Gurgaon.
