Malkangiri: The southern Odisha district of Malkangiri has reported 10 fresh COVID positive cases.
As informed by district collector Manish Agarwal, of the new positive cases, eight are from the temporary medical centre (TMC) in MV-7 block with travel history from Tamil Nadu and New Delhi, and a person working as an attendant of the TMC.
The one local contact case is from Malkangiri municipality, the collector said, adding that the medical surveillance team has started contact tracing of these patients.
With this, the total positive cases in the district has gone up to 106 as on June 30 with 54 active cases and 52 recovered cases.
