Jagatsinghpur: Even as the mystery continue to shroud sheep deaths at Niali block in Cuttack district, 11 sheep were reportedly found dead at Rayankapatna village near Ali Pingal in Jagatsinghpur on Thursday.
According to reports, Aparti Das found 11 of his sheep dead and two injured in his cattle shed. The attack was similar to that in the recent past, when he had lost nine sheep.
An Indian wolf, suspected to be the animal behind the attacks on sheep at Niali block, was captured from a shed at Nakadiha village under Nimapara police limits on Tuesday. The animal was later sent to Nandankanan in Bhubaneswar.
