Bonai: At least 13 persons were injured, four of them seriously, when a mini-truck carrying them overturned near Bhaludungari in Bonai sub-division in Odisha’s Sundargarh district late on Thursday night.
According to reports, 30 people of Tumermunda village of Gurundia panchayat had gone to attend a programme at Birsamunda in the evening.
While they were returning to the village, the rear tyre of the mini-truck suddenly burst out. As a result, the driver could not control the vehicle which lost its balance and overturned on the road.
While 13 people were injured, four of them were seriously injured.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured people at the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Bonai.
Barring the four seriously injured people, the remaining injured people were discharged after the first aid.
