New Delhi: A total of 14,148 new COVID-19 infections were found in India in the last 24 hours on Thursday.
This took India’s COVID tally to 4,28,81,179, while the active cases dropped to 1,48,359, the updated data from the Union Health Ministry stated on Thursday.
The fatality count leapt to 5,12,924 with 302 new deaths, according to data updated at 8 am on Thursday. The daily COVID-19 cases have remained less than one lakh for 18 successive days.
The active cases are 0.35 per cent of the total infections. The national COVID-19 recovery rate has improved further to 98.46 per cent, said the ministry.
