Angul: As many as 15 more persons tested COVID-19 positive in the district on Tuesday.
District collector Manoj Kumar Mohanty said of the new positive cases, six are from Banarpal block, six from Kishorenagar, two from Talcher, and one from Pallahada block.

While three new identified persons in Banarpal are returnees from Pune, Bihar and Jammu, four cases in Kishorenagar are Punjab returnees. Similarly, one corona positive person in Talcher had returned from Hyderabad.
All the new patients will be admitted in COVID Hospital at Talcher tomorrow, the collector said.
With today’s new COVID-19 cases, the total figure in the district has gone up to 154.
