Bhubaneswar: Mumbai-based Odia filmmaker Avinash Nanda recently created a buzz by capturing 15 Odia celebrities in one frame for a one-minute television commercial.
The commercial for Prestige Caterers owned by Bibek Panigrahi features artistes of all age groups and they had been shot binging on food.
Senior artistes like Mahasweta Ray, Aparajita Mohanty, Mihir Das, Akash Das Nayak to young sensation Elina Samantray, Bhumika Dash, Lipsa Mishra and Anisha Sharma are excited to be a part of this one-of-its-kind initiative in India’s ad-film history.
“The costume, music and the shoot of food item were done in Mumbai. We also made all the artistes comfortable by providing them personal make-up artiste and spot boy,” said Nanda, who believes in perfection in work.
Renowned Bollywood ad film cameraman Manoj Khatoi was roped in for the shoot.
The advertisement will be released in a grand manner at Janata Maidan here on October 20. This TV commercial will also be listed in Limca Book of Records.
