16 More Test Corona Positive In Bhubaneswar, Details Here
Khurda: Bhubaneswar on Sunday reported 16 new corona positive cases taking the total number of persons affected by the virus to 122.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), of the new cases, 14 were reported from home quarantine and the rest two are local contacts.
Giving the details of the new patients, the BMC stated that three members of a family affected by the virus, are related to a previous case from Shree Vihar in Patia. The new cases included a 31-year-old male, a 65-year-old male and a 58-year-old female.
Two members of another family were affected in Jayadev Vihar near Biju Patnaik College. While one is a 71-year-old female, the other is a 72-year-old male and both had a travel history to the USA.
Two more cases were reported from one family of Shastri Nagar. They are 75-year-old male and 40-year-old male and had returned from Kolkata.
Similarly, a 22-year-old male having travel history to Pune has tested positive from Phase-I under Dumduma.
The other cases included a 34-year-old male of Kalinga Vihar with travel history to Oman; a 33-year-old male of Satya Nagar with travel history to Delhi; a 54-year-old male of Sabar Sahi, Nayapalli with travel history to Chennai, a 47-year-old male of Netaji Vihar in Rasulgarh with travel history to Gurgaon; and a 31-year-old male of Jadupur with travel history to Delhi.
A 60-year-old female of Masjid Colony has tested positive. The contact tracing of her relatives who had returned from Kolkata is on.
Of the two local cases, one was reported from Kapileswar Vihar with recent travel history to Bhadrak and the other is a service provider at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
With today’s figure, total corona positive cases have gone up to 122 while 60 patients have recovered, three dead and 58 are active cases in Bhubaneswar.
