Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw another 17 patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 1527 on Sunday.
According to the Health and Family Welfare department, four, including a 102-year-old woman, of Bhubaneswar died of the infection, while as many of Sundargarh district have succumbed. Sambalpur and Bargarh have reported three deaths each.
The deceased have been identified as:
1.A 33-year-old male of Bargarh district.
2.A 58-year-old female of Bargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
3.A 64-year-old male of Bargarh district
4.A 12-year-old girl of Boudh district.
5.A 63-year-old male of Bhubaneswar.
6.A 102-year-old female of Bhubaneswar.
7.A 73-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension with CVA.
8.A 60-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus with Coronary Artery Disease & had undergone CABG.
9.A 50-year-old male of Dhenkanal district.
10.A 60-year-old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
11.A 53-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Oral Cancer.
12.A 63-year-old male of Sambalpur district.
13.A 58-year-old male of Sambalpur district.
14.A 55-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from CKD.
15.A 28-year-old female of Sundargarh district.
16.A 36-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
17.A 79-year-old male of Sundargarh district.
