Bhubaneswar: Even as 1617 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, 1908 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged hospitals across the state on Thursday.
While Khurda continued to report maximum recoveries of 222, as many as 170 recovered cases were reported from Sundargarh, 126 from Angul, 102 from Kendrapada, 100 from Cuttack, 96 from Balangir, 89 from Balasore, 80 from Mayurbhanj, 76 from Kalahandi and 73 from Jagatsinghpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 68 recoveries from Nuapada, 55 from Jharsuguda, 49 from Dhenkanal, 48 from Jajpur, 47 from Puri, 45 each from Nabarangpur and Sambalpur, 42 each from Kandhamal and Keonjhar, 37 each from Bargarh and Sonepur, 35 from Malkangiri, 34 from Rayagada, 33 from Koraput, 32 from Boudh, 30 from Nayagarh, 25 from Bhadrak, 20 from Ganjam, 5 from Gajapati and 4 from Deogarh district. There were also 41 recoveries from State Pool.
The total number of recovered patients from COVID-19 in Odisha now stand at 2,72,038 against 2,87,099 positive cases.
