Kendrapada: In a tragic incident, two sisters drowned to death while collecting a miniature boat from a water body at Barimula village under Derabsh police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapada district on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Subhasmita Mallick (3) and Madhusmita Mallick (2), daughters of Bipin Mallick.

According to sources, the incident happened when they slipped into the water while collecting a miniature boat.
The villagers spotted the bodies floating in the water body and informed their family members.
On being informed, police reached the spot and fished out the bodies.
