Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the Odisha Police effected a reshuffle in police ranks following directions from the Election Commission.
Along with 19 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), an Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) has also been transferred on the orders of DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi.
According to the notification, Additional DCP of Commissionerate Police Anil Kumar Beuria has been transferred and posted as Additional SP Angul.

>> Laxmi Narayan Marandi, DSP, IUCAW, Balangirhas been transferred and posted as DSP, DIB, Malkangiri.
>> Laxmidhara Swain, DSP, Home Guards, Kalahandi has been transferred and posted as DSP, Headquarters, Malkangiri.
>> Mamata Nayak, DSP, IUCAW, Nayagarh, has been transferred and posted as DSP, headquarters, Keonjhar
>> Onam Lakra, DSP, Headquarters, Sambalpur has been transferred and posted as DSP, PCR Cell, Malkangiri.
>> Prabhat Kumar Tripathy, SDPO, Kamahyanagar has been transferred and posted as SDPO, Ghatagaon.
>> Sandhyarani Behuria, DSP, Headquarters, Cuttack has been transferred and posted as DSP, PCR Cell, Dhenkanal.
