Balasore: As many as 20 people sustained serious injuries after a passenger bus skidded off the road near Airi Square at Soro in Balasore district on Sunday.
Locals rescued the injured passengers and admitted them to Soro hospital.
Eyewitnesses told police that the ill-fated bus was packed with passengers and it’s driver probably lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a turn.
Police have seized the vehicle and further investigation is on.
