200 Plunge In COVID-19 Recoveries In Odisha In 3 Days

Bhubaneswar: With daily COVID-19 positive cases coming down steadily, the number of recovered patients plunged by 200 in three days in Odisha.

According to Health and Family Welfare department, 707 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals on Sunday. While there were 802 recoveries on Saturday, 908 had recovered on Friday.

Of the day’s recoveries, maximum 65 were reported from Cuttack and Khurda districts, followed by 58 from Keonjhar, 48 from Mayurbhanj, 46 from Angul, 42 from Jagatsinghpur, 37 each from Kalahandi and Nuapada, 35 each from Sambalpur and Sundargarh and 33 from Balasore.

Similarly, there were 29 recoveries from Kendrapada, 21 each from Balangir and Jajpur, 19 from Bhadrak, 14 from Jharsuguda, 13 from Dhenkanal, 12 from Bargarh, 11 from Ganjam, 10 from Koraput, 9 from Puri, 8 from Deogarh, 6 from Kandhamal, 5 from Nabarangpur, 3 each from Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Sonepur, 2 each from Boudh and Rayagada and 15 from State Pool.

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,11,256 against 3,18,307 positive cases with 518 new cases reported overnight.
