Bhubaneswar: Another 2071 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in Odisha on Sunday, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Of the recovered cases on the day, 301 are from Khurda district, 212 from Sundargarh, 182 from Cuttack, 96 from Mayurbhanj, 90 from Angul, 80 from Jharsuguda, 78 from Nuapada, 72 from Kendrapada, 71 from Bargarh, 69 from Jajpur, 67 from Balangir, 66 each from Puri and Sonepur, 59 from Jagatsinghpur, 58 each from Balasore and Keonjhar, 51 from Kalahandi and 50 from Sambalpur.
Similarly, there were 43 recoveries in Kandhamal, 38 in Dhenkanal, 35 in Bhadrak, 33 in Malkangiri, 30 in Koraput, 24 in Ganjam, 20 in Nabarangpur, 19 in Boudh, 17 in Nayagarh, 12 each in Deogarh and Rayagada and 5 in Gajapati district. There were also 57 recoveries from State Pool.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in the state have gone up to 2,64,102 against COVID-19 positive tally of 2,81,215 with addition of 1633 new cases.
