Mumbai: HMD Global on Thursday launched a budget phone, Nokia 106, at a price of Rs 1,299.
The basic feature phone has a 21 days standby battery life and up to 15.7 hours of talk time on a single charge. The phone has a LED torch, FM radio and a phonebook that can store 2000 contacts. It also has the Snake Xenzia game pre-loaded.
It has a 1.8-inch QQVGA Colour TFT display and a 800 mAh battery.

Nokia phones are synonymous with these qualities and we’re delighted to introduce the Nokia 106 to our feature phone portfolio and hope to continue to drive connectivity for millions of consumers here,” Ajey Mehta, Vice President and Country Head – India, HMD Global, said in a statement.
The phone is available only in grey color and will be sold both online and offline.
