Bhubaneswar: A total of 2,984 rape cases have been registered in different police stations of Odisha in 2020, said Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra in the State Assembly on Monday.
Referring to the number of crimes in the state during 2020, he said out of a total of 1,931 cyber frauds, the hackers have looted more than Rs 35 crore.

Apart from this, 1,470 murders cases, 17 ATM loots and five bank dacoity cases have been registered during the period, the Minister informed the House.
