Bhubaneswar: At least three persons were critically injured after being attacked with sharp weapons by a group of miscreants in Bharatpur area of Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The injured persons were identified as Bishu, Bapi, and Sangram of Bharatpur area of the city.
As per sources, around 20-30 youths from a slum in Sampur locality mounted an attack on the three over a land dispute.
Locals said that the miscreants chased the three and attacked them with swords, inflicting critical injuries. The three were rushed a hospital for treatment. Their condition was stated to be critical.
After getting information about the incident, a police team visited the site and launched an investigation. A case has been registered and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the attackers.
