Bhubaneswar: Tension prevailed in Palasuni areaof Bhubaneswar after a violent clash broke out at a hookah bar and restaurant. At least three persons were grievously injured in the incident.
As per information, the incident took place late on Saturday as an argument between two groups over some issue escalated into a serious brawl. The bar virtually turned into a battlefield.
At least three persons were reported to have sustained grievous injuries in the clash. The injured persons were immediately rushed to a private hospital in the Khandagiri area for treatment.
The incident has raised serious questions about the functioning of the hookah bar. Locals alleged that the hookah bar routinely remains open throughout the night, often beyond permissible hours.
After getting information, a team from Mancheswar Police Station visited the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident. Officials are examining CCTV footage and questioning staff to ascertain the exact sequence of events that led to the clash.
