Cuttack: The countdown has well and truly begun. The first ball in the inaugural Odisha Pro T20 League (OPTL) will be delivered in less than days.
The six franchise teams — Bhubaneswar Tigers, Cuttack Panthers, Keonjhar Miners, Puri Titans, Rourkela Steelers and Sambalpur Warriors – will be captained by the marquee players named earlier.
The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced the captains, coaches and assistant coaches of each team.
On Friday, the teams revealed their draft picks and squads for the first season of OPTL, to be held from September 17 to 26.
OCA, which is organising the tournament in association with sports event management company Arivaa Sports, will schedule two matches every day.
The OPTL will be telecast live on Star Sports, while live streaming will be available on Fancode.
