Bhadrak: At least three persons were killed and another sustained critical injury when the ambulance carrying them in hit a dumper near Maitapur in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on on Saturday.
As per preliminary information, a man, identified as of Palasia village under Bhogarai police station was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital a few days ago. Following his death, his son, son-in-law and daughter-in-law were carrying the body to his hometown in the ambulance when the mishap took place on National Highway 16.
Three persons including Dibakar’s son Sanjay Jena, son-in-law Sudhanshu Dalai and ambulance driver Dilip Singh. Sanjay’s mother, Savitri Jena, was critically injured and is currently undergoing treatment at Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital, sources said.
