Sambalpur: A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an unidentified person in Sambalpur Sadar Hospital late on Tuesday.
A case has been registered at the town police station here on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s family members.
According to the complaint, the girl was taken to an isolated place by an unknown person and raped when she was present near her ailing mother in the hospital.
Investigation into the matter is on. The medical examination of the minor girl will be conducted, a police officer said.
