Koraput: At least 33 people were injured, 13 of them critically, after a vehicle carrying them overturned at Boriput Ghat in Odisha’s Koraput district.
As per information, the accident occurred in Laxmipur area under Narayanpatna police limits on Friday evening. The injured were immediately admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Laxmipur The critically injured patients have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital at Koraput.

According to sources, around 40 passengers were returning to Jangirivalsa village in Bandhugaon tehsil after attending a wedding when the mishap took place.
Locals informed Narayanpatna police, who reached the spot and rescued the passengers. An investigation is underway into the cause of the crash.
