39 Odisha Archers Get Training In Jamshedpur
Bhubaneswar: The Department of Sports and Youth Services, Odisha, in association with Tata Steel Limited conducted a 10-day advance training in archery at Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur. A total of 39 archers were shortlisted.
The training camp was held from May 5 to 15 and is one-of-its-kind initiative by the Government for enhancing the archery skills through advance and intensive training.
While 14 players from Keonjhar Sports Hostel undertook the training, 13 were from Phulbani Sports Hostel and the rest from Malkangiri Sports Hostel.
The archers were trained by Gangadhar Madhi, Asaram Hansada and Bhagatram Naik.
