Baleshwar: At least four people were injured after a tourist bus carrying around 70 passengers rammed into two vehicles in Simulia area of Odisha’s Baleshwar district on Wednesday.
According to preliminary information, the mishap took place near the electricity office at Markona under the jurisdiction of Simulia Police Station when the tourist bus with around 70 on board was proceeding to Puri.
The bus reportedly collided with an SUV and another car on National Highway 16 in the district.
While the passengers on the bus narrowly escaped without major injuries, four persons traveling in the SUV sustained injuries.
The injured were rescued and rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Simulia by locals.
On being informed, a team from Simulia Police Station visited the site and launched an investigation into the incident.
