Dhenkanal: At least four people were critically injured after a bus of the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) collided with a truck near Rangathali on National Highway-149 in Dhenkanal district early on Saturday.
According to sources, the injured were initially taken to a hospital in Parjang and later shifted to Kamakhyanagar Hospital for further treatment.
The injured include three passengers of the OSRTC bus and the truck driver.
The mishap took place when the bus from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela collided head on with the truck coming from the opposite direction. Both the vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.
After getting information, a team from Parjang police station rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers.
A case has been registered and police are probing circumstances that led to the mishap.
