Bhubaneswar: Doctors in Odisha’s Sundargarh district came to the aid of a four-year-old boy after his head got stuck in a steel pot.
The incident took place at Jangla village under Bonai police limits, when the boy, identified as Subham Munda, was playing with the steel pot on Friday evening. Startled by his fervent cries, his parents rushed to him and attempted to take the pot off his head for over 2 hours but in vain. They then took Subham to Bonai sub-divisional hospital, where a team of doctors, led by Dr Prabhat Ranjan Singh removed the pot using a cutter and knives.
The condition of the boy is stated to be stable.
