48 More Migrants Test Corona Positive In Odisha; Total 1103

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday released the details about 51 corona positive cases reported in the last 24 hours.

These fresh cases have been reported from Ganjam (4), Jajpur (5), Cuttack (9), Jagatsinghpur (2), Angul (2), Nayagarh (11), Kalahandi (11), Puri (1), Sambalpur (2), Malkangiri (1) and Mayurbhanj (3).

Of these, 48 have been detected in quarantine centres while three are locals, the I & PR department said in a tweet. These patients had recently returned to Odisha from West Bengal, Telangana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh.

With this, Odisha now has 753 active cases with 343 having been cured of the infection. The virus has so far claimed seven lives in the state. Ganjam reported its third death on Thursday.
