499 COVID-19 Cases In 2 Days: After Two IAS Officers, Odisha Govt Deputes 6 OAS Officers To Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: With the COVID-19 tally crossing 2000-mark in Ganjam, the Odisha government on Saturday deputed six senior OAS officers to the district to work under the administration.

Earlier in the day, two IAS officers were posted as Special ADMs in charge of Chatrapur sub-division and Bhanjanagar sub-division of the district in view of the growing COVID-19 cases.

The district has reported 499 positive cases in the last two days, which took the total to 2066 on Saturday.
